It was great to be back at my church. Today I shared at the services the commitment I made in Sudan on behalf of our church.
1. We have started the building of the training center and also the orphanage. The roofs have already been built and we are in the process of identifying the children who do not have any parents or support at all.
2. There are no schools running in the part of Sudan where we were. This school building was abandoned during the war. Some of our funds went to repair the roof before the rainy season starts. We will pay the teachers’ salaries for the year. There are four teachers and a head master. To run this school for entire year would be around 25,000 per year.
3. We will feed the children three times a week.
4. We will be having 160 plus students attending school that would never have an education without this school.
